App Shopfront, AppShopFront.com, Checkpoint Translator, the checkpoint phrase book, the cover, the screen, the wording, and the arrangement of this shop are original works. They are protected by United States copyright law and by the copyright laws of other countries.

No part of this shop or this application may be copied, recorded, translated for resale, published, performed in public, or built into another product without prior written permission from the copyright owner. A free week or a paid download is not that permission.

Checkpoint Translator is offered in two ways, and both ways are the same license. The price is $29.00, paid once. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no monthly fee.

Pay now. The license begins when the card payment is confirmed. The seven-day evaluation does not apply to a license that has already been paid.

Evaluate first. The first seven days on a phone are free. No card is required to begin. If you continue after that week, the license continues only when the $29.00 payment is made. If it is not made, the application closes on that phone.

Either way, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application on the phone that holds it. You do not receive the copyright. You do not receive the phrase book as a separate work. You do not receive the right to hand the application to another person, another lane, or another agency.

The license is for lawful screening communication by the person who holds it. It ends if these terms are broken, if a payment is reversed, or if an unpaid evaluation reaches its eighth day.

Checkpoint Translator is a web application. It is not listed on the Apple App Store, Google Play, or any other app store. There is no store download.

You open AppShopFront.com in the phone’s browser and add Checkpoint Translator to the home screen. That home-screen icon is the copy. It opens from the phone without a store account.

You may not sell, rent, lend, sublicense, or give away the application, the phrase book, the audio, or the screens. You may not scrape them, train a model on them, or republish them as your own.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or strip the application except where a statute expressly forbids this limit. You may not remove the copyright notice, the disclaimer, or the statement that this is not a government application.

You may not use the name App Shopfront, the cover, or the title Checkpoint Translator to suggest that a government, an airline, or an airport built, sponsors, or requires this tool.

Checkpoint Translator is an independent application, provided as is and as available. It is not an official airport tool. It is not the Transportation Security Administration. It is not the Department of Homeland Security. It is not U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It is not any airport authority, airline, or other government agency.

No seal, uniform, lane, or checkpoint in the cover art means official approval. TSA and any other agency names are the property of their owners. They are used here only to describe the setting where an officer may choose to speak. There is no endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

Agency standard operating procedures, supervisor direction, and the law control the lane. This application does not.

This is a communication aid. It is not a court interpreter, a medical interpreter, a diplomatic interpreter, or a qualified interpreter under any statute.

Do not use it for a rights advisement, a consent, a medical warning, a law-enforcement interview, a sworn statement, or any moment where your agency requires a live qualified interpreter. If the line matters that much, stop and get the interpreter your procedure requires.

A passenger who nods at a screen has not necessarily understood. The officer still has to look, listen, and follow training.

Phrase-book lines are prepared wording. Spoken lines that are not in the book are transcribed and translated by machine. Machines miss dialects, names, numbers, medical words, and noise in a checkpoint.

Nothing on this shop or in this application is a warranty that a translation is complete, current, culturally fit, or safe for a particular passenger. Read the line before you rely on it. If it looks wrong, do not speak it.

The application does not decide who may fly, what may be carried, or how a pat-down, divestment, or bag check must be done. Those decisions stay with trained officers and their agencies.

A line you choose from the phrase book is played from the application. A line you speak that is not in the book is sent so it can be turned into text and into the passenger’s language, then spoken back.

Do not speak a passenger’s full identity documents, payment numbers, or anything your agency forbids you to record. This shop does not sell passenger speech and does not build a traveler file from it.

There is no warranty that the application will work on every phone, in every browser, in every language, or through every checkout. Phone makers change speech and installation rules without notice.

TO THE FULL EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, APPSHOPFRONT.COM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE LOSS, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF TIME, PAY, GOODWILL, OR SCREENING OPERATION, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT IT COULD HAPPEN.

TO THE FULL EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SHOP OR THE APPLICATION WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THAT LICENSE IN THE NINETY DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Some places do not allow certain disclaimers. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Card payment is processed by Stripe. This shop does not store the card number. A paid license is delivered when Stripe confirms the payment. If the payment is declined, reversed, or charged back, the license ends.

The amount due, whether paid at the start or after the seven-day evaluation, is $29.00. That charge does not repeat. A digital license that has been delivered is final except where the law where you live requires a different remedy.

You use this application at your own professional risk. You are responsible for following your agency, your post orders, and the law. You are responsible for the words you choose to speak into it.
